Events 2008
We are in the process of putting together the 09 calendar, as you can imagine, it is difficult to please everyone and fit in all of our core functions as a branch of the MS Society. If you have any ideas for a trip, a speaker or a function please let us know.
We normally meet on the Second Thursday of every month @ Orchard House, Drayman's way Alton (opposite the police Stn), 7:30pm until the last people leave, normally about 9:30-10:00pm. These meetings are a chance to meet up with others in the group for a general chat or an exchange of ideas & information. We Don't just sit about talking about MS. We have a quiz or two, bingo or a guest speaker who will talk about something they feel passionate about, whether it's a job or a hobby. It could be Antiques, Theatrical makeup or someone from the carers support group. We are open to suggestions and always looking for speakers. There are refreshments and a raffle.
We also arrange and take part in promotional / fund raising events and trips for all the family.
